Are The Globalist Our Friends?

More proof why you need to consider whether the globalists are really your friends.

Well my friends, who have been buying the globalist’s “don’t put any tariffs on foreign goods” line, how do you continue to defend NOT tariffing China when the latest abuse by the Chinese military has now become public. In case you might have missed this news, it turns out that a Chinese server manufacturer planted microchips in cooperation with the Chinese military in servers used by major companies in the US. This is just the latest example of Chinese espionage. Readers should go to yesterday’s WSJ for a long and very well researched article on IP theft by the Chinese hacking other countries businesses for an idea of how wide spread this issue really is.

What is really sad is the multi-national companies and their dark money groups have actually been guilty of trying to sabotage our country. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever find Charles Koch and George Soros on the same side of an issue and both be wrong. Soros, who I despise, and Koch, who I think the world of personally, have both been funding 'think' tanks that decry Trump's stance on international trade even as the Chinese and to lesser degrees other countries have engaged in widespread theft of IP and other proprietary technology. The WTO has NEVER been a venue that corrects these issues and China would ignore them if they did try so let’s stop living an illusion about the global order. There is NO global order but there has been global capitulation to China.

News flash, this is a communist country with an economy subject to central planning and to believe the government and by extension the Chinese military will not have their fingers in EVERYTHING is either wishful thinking or willful complicity simply to make a buck. Even more telling of how absorbed the globalists are in their own interests is that this is not a new thing.

I have referenced Schwinn bike repeatedly as an example of what happens with core technology in a country that has a different form of government than ours. Here is the quick version: Schwinn, which at the time was one of the largest bike producers in the world, took their new frame technology to China for manufacture. The Chinese manufacturer took the technology and produced a bike for Schwinn while they used their assembly line to make the SAME frame for Giant Bike at a lower cost. Want to guess who owned a share of Giant Bike? You got it, the Chinese military. Giant Bike became the largest bike manufacturer in the world in short order and Schwinn, who now was selling their bikes at a higher price against the very composite frame they had pioneered, became a very minor player. This is the future if we allow the groups that Soros and Koch fund to successfully sell us on the premise that we should oppose Trump’s crackdown on China and his tariffs as one of the weapons.

I have to ask the free traders is this sort of espionage free trade? And if you are a consumer, who has bought the line that products may cost you a few dollars more as a reason to support these free traders, is your self-interest so great that you are fine with eventually having a communist country as the dominant power in the world by pilfering American companies?

I would suggest my friends might want to rethink their free trade tirades against Trump’s tariffs. Free trade with communist countries is probably always going to be a misnomer. The globalist’s desire to have access to the market in China have shown they could care less about what form of government people live under.
